How do I cancel or make changes to my Smart Layover booking?
Contact Smart Layover Customer Service with your current Smart Layover booking number and specific details of your amendment, and we will be able to advise if the change/amendment is possible. Please select your tour carefully, as not all travel service providers will accept changes/amendments once you have received confirmation of your booking. As per the Terms and Conditions some sales attract change/amendment and cancellation penalties.
What happens if my layover is extended and I need to extend my stay at a hotel?
Contact the front desk of your property. The hotel will have to determine availability.
How do I get to my hotel or tour location? Is there a shuttle service provided?
Usually most of the Airport hotels provide a complementary shuttle service to and from the airport. Contact your hotel after your reservation is made with transportation questions.
For tours and activities, it depends on the travel service provider and will need to be asked directly to them on the day of the tour. Most travel service providers can pick you up or drop you to a major hotel or city location, depending on their schedule on the day. You will need to check directly with them at the destination, prior to or on the day of layover.
How do I access my Smart Layover itineraries?
At this point Smart Layover allows you to view your reservation via mobile application only. To download mobile application go here. Please make sure that you are using same email address that has been provided during reservation when you subscribing to Smart Layover via mobile application.

What if I do not get a confirmation email?
Most reservations are confirmed at time of booking, however some will be sent to you within 12-48 hours. If confirmation or otherwise is not received within 48 hours, please check your “spam” folder.
Some email internet providers can mark general booking emails such as those sent from Smart layover as “spam” – please check your spam folder for previous email replies. If you have your spam filter set on the highest ranking, only emails from senders in your address box will go into your inbox. Any other emails (such as replies from internet sites you have booked on) will go into a “spam” folder. These emails can sit in this folder for up to 7 days and then your email system will automatically delete them.
If your confirmation is not found in “spam” folder contact Smart Layover Customer Service for further assistance.
What is the payment process for my Smart Layover products and services?
For hotel rooms, we will use your credit card number to guarantee the room with the chosen hotel. Upon check in you will need to present payment to the front desk and charges will be made by the hotel on the day of arrival.
For tours and deals, Smart Layover will charge your card on the day you make your reservation.
Do I have to have a flight to use your services?
No, reservations can be made by anyone needing a day use hotel room or tour services. We have participating downtown hotels for train and bus travelers.
